The crowd at Tuesday's non-league bout between the Midway Panthers (Waco, TX) and the host DeSoto Eagles (DeSoto, TX), saw Midway's volleyball squad beat DeSoto by a tally of 3-0.

With the win, Midway upgrades its record to 28-15 on the year. The Panthers travel to Wylie East (Wylie, TX) to play the Raiders in a non-league bout on Thursday, November 2. The Raiders go into the bout with a record of 24-8. Wylie East won 3-2 in their recent non-league bout against Rockwall-Heath (Rockwall, TX)

The Eagles now own a 28-16 record.
