The crowd at Tuesday's league bout between the Jefferson Cavaliers (Sioux Falls, SD) and the host Riggs Governors (Pierre, SD), saw Jefferson's volleyball squad beat Riggs by a tally of 3-0.

With the win, Jefferson upgrades its record to 20-2 on the year. The Cavaliers host Aberdeen Central (Aberdeen, SD) to play the Golden Eagles in a non-league bout on Thursday, November 2. The Golden Eagles go into the bout with a record of 13-10. Aberdeen Central lost 3-0 in their recent non-league bout against Roosevelt (Sioux Falls, SD)
