The Jayton Jaybirds football squad scored 54 points and limited the host Aspermont Hornets to 0 in the Jaybirds league triumph on Thursday.
The Jaybirds now sport a 10-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Crowell for a non-league test on Thursday, November 14.
With the defeat, Aspermont drops to 5-4 on the campaign. The Hornets travel to Paint Creek (Haskell, TX) to meet the Pirates in a 1A 6 Man 2 Region II District 8 (6 Man) test on Friday, November 8. The Pirates come into the test with a record of 6-3. Paint Creek won 61-0 in their recent league test against Lueders-Avoca (Avoca, TX)
