The Hornets go into the challenge with a 5-4 record after their 35-14 league win over Poteau (Poteau, OK).

The Savages (6-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Poteau (Poteau, OK). The Pirates go into the 4A District 4 challenge with a 5-4 record. In their last challenge, Poteau lost by Hilldale (Muskogee, OK), 35-14, in a league challenge.
