The Hamlin Chargers (Hayti, SD) football trounced the visiting Viborg/Hurley Cougars (Viborg, SD), 56-20 in Thursday's non-league outing.

The Chargers now sport a 10-0 record. They take the field next when they host Elkton/Lake Benton for a non-league outing on Friday, November 8. Hamlin will clash with a Elks squad coming off a 46-21 non-league win over Hanson (Alexandria, SD). The Elks record now stands at 9-1.

With the defeat, Viborg/Hurley drops to 7-3 on the campaign.
