The Central Rockets volleyball team scored 2 points and restricted the host Vernon Hills Cougars to 0 in the Rockets non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Rockets now have a 28-8 record. They play next when they travel to Wheaton Academy for a non-league outing on Tuesday, November 5. Central will play a Warriors team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Northtown (Chicago, IL). The Warriors record now stands at 26-6.

With the loss, Vernon Hills drops to 22-14 on the campaign. The Cougars travel to Saint Viator (Arlington Heights, IL) to play the Lions in a non-league outing on Thursday, November 7. The Lions come into the outing with a record of 26-9. Saint Viator won 2-0 in their recent non-league outing against Intrinsic (Chicago, IL)
