Texas High School Football - Pewitt wallops Alba-Golden

The Pewitt Brahmas football squad scored 45 points and limited the visiting Alba-Golden Panthers to 12 in the Brahmas league triumph on Friday.

The Brahmas now sport a 7-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Honey Grove for a 2A-1 Region III District 9 test on Friday, November 7. Pewitt will clash with a Warriors squad coming off a 35-22 league win over Cooper (Cooper, TX). The Warriors record now stands at 8-1.

With the defeat, Alba-Golden drops to 1-8 on the campaign. The Panthers host Boles (Quinlan, TX) to battle the Hornets in a 2A-1 Region III District 9 game on Friday, November 7. The Hornets enter the game with a record of 3-6. Boles lost 31-28 in their recent league game against Rivercrest (Bogata, TX)
