In Friday's league outing, the Cedar Creek Cougars (Ruston, LA) football squad trounced the host Arcadia Hornets (Arcadia, LA), by a margin of 46-8.

The Cougars now sport a 6-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Jonesboro-Hodge for a 1A District 1 outing on Friday, November 7. Cedar Creek will clash with a Tigers squad coming off a 18-14 league win over Glenbrook (Minden, LA). The Tigers record now stands at 6-3.

With the defeat, Arcadia drops to 3-6 on the campaign. The Hornets host Lincoln Prep (Grambling, LA) to battle the Panthers in a 1A District 1 game on Friday, November 7. The Panthers enter the game with a record of 4-5. Lincoln Prep won 49-0 in their recent league game against Plain Dealing (Plain Dealing, LA)
