Texas High School Football - University tops Brenham

October 31, 2025: Waco, TX 76706

The University Trojans football squad scored 42 points and limited the visiting Brenham Cubs to 14 in the Trojans league triumph on Friday.

The Trojans now hold a 6-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Ellison for a 5A-2 Region III District 10 test on Friday, November 7. University will meet a Eagles squad coming off a 59-19 league win over Rudder (Bryan, TX). The Eagles record now stands at 4-5.

The Cubs (8-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Belton (Belton, TX). The Tigers go into the 5A-2 Region III District 10 challenge with a 5-4 record. In their last challenge, Belton toppled Waco (Waco, TX), 42-18, in a league challenge.
