The Steele Knights (Cibolo, TX) football trounced the visiting Canyon Cougars (New Braunfels, TX), 49-7 in Friday's league outing.

The Knights now sport a 8-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Johnson for a 6A Region IV District 29 outing on Thursday, November 6. Steele will battle a Jaguars team coming off a 17-10 league win over Judson (Converse, TX). The Jaguars record now stands at 3-6.

The Cougars now own a 5-4 record. They play next when they host San Marcos for a 6A Region IV District 29 bout on Friday, November 7. Canyon will battle a Rattlers squad coming off a 27-21 league loss to Steele (Cibolo, TX). The Rattlers record now stands at 5-4.
