Texas High School Football - Mildred holds off Carlisle

The Mildred Eagles (Corsicana, TX) football edged the host Carlisle Indians (Price, TX), 28-21 in Friday's league game.

In their next game, the Eagles battle the Cross Roads Bobcats (Malakoff, TX) in a 2A-1 Region II District 8 outing, on Friday, November 7. Mildred will attempt to move on its 7-2 season record. The Bobcats come into the outing with a 3-6 record after their 52-0 league loss to Frankston (Frankston, TX).

With the defeat, Carlisle drops to 4-5 on the campaign. The Indians travel to Kerens (Kerens, TX) to clash with the Bobcats in a 2A-1 Region II District 8 outing on Friday, November 7. The Bobcats come into the outing with a record of 5-4. Kerens lost 38-7 in their recent league game against Cayuga (Cayuga, TX)
