Carver Collegiate Academy Rams (New Orleans, LA) fans went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team tip the host East St. John Wildcats (Reserve, LA), 21-19 in a non-league test.

The Rams now hold a 5-3 record. They take the field next when they host Frederick A. Douglass for a 4A District 10 test on Friday, November 7. Carver Collegiate Academy will meet a Bobcats squad coming off a 26-20 league loss to McDonogh 35 (New Orleans, LA). The Bobcats record now stands at 5-3.

With the defeat, East St. John drops to 1-8 on the campaign. The Wildcats host Bourgeois (Gray, LA) to play the Braves in a 5A District 8 challenge on Friday, November 7. The Braves go into the challenge with a record of 4-5. Bourgeois won 28-21 in their recent league challenge against Central Lafourche (Raceland, LA)
