The crowd at Friday's league contest between the Center Hill Mustangs (Olive Branch, MS) and the host Saltillo Tigers (Saltillo, MS), witnessed Center Hill's football squad knock off Saltillo by a tally of 27-14.
The Mustangs (5-4) will now prepare for their contest against South Panola (Batesville, MS). The Tigers go into the 6A Region 1 bout with a 6-3 record. In their last bout, South Panola beat Olive Branch (Olive Branch, MS), 41-7, in a league bout.
The Tigers now own a 3-7 record. They play next when they host Grenada for a 6A Region 1 bout on Thursday, November 6. Saltillo will encounter a Chargers team coming off a 28-26 league loss to Lake Cormorant (Lake Cormorant, MS). The Chargers record now stands at 6-3.
