    In Friday's league match, the host Hardin Hornets football squad scored a decisive 41-7 triumph over the Coldspring-Oakhurst Trojans.

    The Hornets (9-0) will now prepare for their match against Kirbyville (Kirbyville, TX). The Wildcats come into the 3A-1 Region III District 10 match with a 4-5 record. In their last match, Kirbyville routed Buna (Buna, TX), 45-21, in a league battle.

    The Trojans now have a 2-7 record. They play next when they host Anahuac for a 3A-1 Region III District 10 battle on Thursday, November 6. Coldspring-Oakhurst will play a Panthers team coming off a 38-0 league loss to Hardin (Hardin, TX). The Panthers record now stands at 2-7.
