In Friday's league match, the visiting St. Charles Catholic Comets football squad scored a decisive 50-7 victory over the Kenner Discovery Health Sciences Academy Swamp Owls.
The Comets (8-1) will now prepare for their match against Archbishop Shaw (Marrero, LA). The Eagles enter the 4A District 9 match with a 6-3 record. In their last match, Archbishop Shaw was routed by Belle Chasse (Belle Chasse, LA), 14-0, in a league match.
