In Friday's league game, the Mt. Pleasant Tigers (Mt. Pleasant, TX) football team were victorious over the host Nacogdoches Dragons (Nacogdoches, TX), by a score of 48-21.

Next, the Tigers clash with the Hallsville Bobcats (Hallsville, TX) in a 5A-2 Region II District 7 outing, on Friday, November 7. Mt. Pleasant will attempt to move on its 3-6 season record. The Bobcats come into the outing with a 2-7 record after their 47-17 league loss to Marshall (Marshall, TX).
