Mississippi High School Football - Natchez falls to South Jones

October 31, 2025: Ellisville, MS 39437

The South Jones Braves felled the visiting Natchez Bulldogs football team by a score of 17-0 in Friday's league challenge.

In their next game, the Braves play the Laurel Golden Tornadoes (Laurel, MS) in a 5A Region 3 test, on Thursday, November 6. South Jones will attempt to upgrade on its 8-2 season record. The Golden Tornadoes come into the test with a 3-6 record after their 14-10 league win over Sumrall (Sumrall, MS).

With the defeat, Natchez drops to 3-6 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Brookhaven (Brookhaven, MS) to face the Panthers in a 5A Region 3 challenge on Thursday, November 6. The Panthers go into the challenge with a record of 7-2. Brookhaven won 41-7 in their recent league challenge against North Pike (Summit, MS)
