Mississippi High School Football - New Hope defeated by West Point

The West Point Green Wave were victorious over the host New Hope Trojans football team by a score of 38-7 in Friday's league challenge.

In their next game, the Green Wave face the Columbus Falcons (Columbus, MS) in a 5A Region 1 challenge, on Thursday, November 6. West Point will attempt to improve on its 9-0 season record. The Falcons enter the challenge with a 1-8 record after their 28-20 league loss to Pontotoc (Pontotoc, MS).

The Trojans (6-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Caledonia (Caledonia, MS). The Cavaliers enter the 5A Region 1 challenge with a 1-8 record. In their last challenge, Caledonia fell by Lafayette (Oxford, MS), 42-19, in a league challenge.
