Texas High School Football - Nimitz prevails Spring

October 31, 2025: Spring, TX 77373

In Friday's league challenge, the visiting Nimitz Cougars football team scored a nice 34-14 win over the Spring Lions.

In their next game, the Cougars play the Dekaney Wildcats (Houston, TX) in a 6A Region II District 14 challenge, on Thursday, November 6. Nimitz will attempt to improve on its 7-2 season record. The Wildcats go into the challenge with a 3-6 record after their 37-7 league win over MacArthur (Houston, TX).

The Lions (1-8) will now prepare for their challenge against Aldine (Houston, TX). The Mustangs go into the 6A Region II District 14 challenge with a 0-9 record. In their last test, Aldine went down by Eisenhower (Houston, TX), 50-0, in a league test.
