The crowd at Friday's league contest between the Riverside Academy Rebels (Reserve, LA) and the visiting Varnado Wildcats (Angie, LA), witnessed Riverside Academy's football squad wallop Varnado by a tally of 56-8.
The Wildcats now own a 1-7 record. They play next when they host St. Martin's Episcopal for a 1A District 10 bout on Friday, November 7. Varnado will encounter a Saints team coming off a 29-6 non-league win over Glen Oaks (Baton Rouge, LA). The Saints record now stands at 5-4.
