The crowd at Friday's league contest between the Chico Panthers (Chico, CA) and the visiting Foothill Cougars (Palo Cedro, CA), witnessed Chico's football squad topple Foothill by a count of 46-18.

The Panthers (8-0) will now prepare for their contest against Red Bluff (Red Bluff, CA). The Spartans enter the contest with a 3-6 record. In their last contest, Red Bluff was outscored by Shasta (Redding, CA), 28-14, in a league contest.

Next up, the Cougars encounter the Enterprise Hornets (Redding, CA) in a battle, on Friday, November 7. Foothill will attempt to advance on its 5-4 season record. The Hornets go into the battle with a 6-3 record after their 48-7 league loss to Pleasant Valley (Chico, CA).
