The Ruston Bearcats volleyball team (Ruston, LA), was beaten 2-0 in Friday's non-league contest with the visiting Dutchtown Griffins (Geismar, LA)

The Griffins (23-11) will now prepare for their contest against St. Scholastica (Covington, LA). The Doves enter the non-league contest with a 24-8 record. In their last contest, St. Scholastica beat Ponchatoula (Ponchatoula, LA), 2-0, in a non-league contest.

Next, the Bearcats meet the Archbishop Chapelle Chipmunks (Metairie, LA) in a non-league test, on Saturday, November 1. Ruston will attempt to improve on its 12-18 season record. The Chipmunks go into the test with a 23-14 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Cabrini (New Orleans, LA).
