In Friday's non-league challenge, the host Valley Heights Mustangs volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Jefferson County North Chargers.

Next, the Chargers meet the Oakley Plainsmen (Oakley, KS) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, October 31. Jefferson County North will attempt to advance on its 42-5 season record. The Plainsmen go into the test with a 36-4 record after their 2-1 non-league win over Medicine Lodge (Medicine Lodge, KS).
