In Monday's non-league battle, the visiting Academy of the Sacred Heart Cardinals volleyball team scored a 3-1 triumph over the Academy of Our Lady Penguins.
The Cardinals (4-1) will now prepare for their battle against Cabrini (New Orleans, LA). The Crescents come into the non-league battle with a 5-9 record. In their last battle, Cabrini achieved victory over Sci Academy (New Orleans, LA), 3-0, in a league battle.
Next, the Penguins clash with the Edna Karr Cougars (New Orleans, LA) in a Division II District 7 battle, on Tuesday, October 5. Academy of Our Lady will attempt to advance on its 2-1 season record. The Cougars come into the battle with a 2-0 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Eleanor McMain (New Orleans, LA).
