In Tuesday's non-league battle, the host Pagosa Springs Pirates volleyball team scored a tight 2-1 triumph over the Durango Demons.
The Pirates (3-5) will now prepare for their battle against Bayfield (Bayfield, CO). The Wolverines come into the battle with a 1-1 record.
Next, the Demons encounter the Farmington Scorpions (Farmington, NM) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, October 15. Durango will attempt to advance on its 0-3 season record.
