In Tuesday's non-league battle, the visiting Goddard Rockets volleyball team scored a tight 2-1 triumph over the Carlsbad Cavemen.
The Rockets (1-2) will now prepare for their battle against Roswell (Roswell, NM). The Coyotes come into the non-league battle with a 4-0 record.
Next, the Cavemen clash with the Clovis Wildcats (Clovis, NM) in a non-league battle, on Tuesday, October 11. Carlsbad will attempt to advance on its 1-5 season record. The Wildcats come into the battle with a 9-4 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Lovington (Lovington, NM).
