The West Mecklenburg Hawks topped the host Garinger Wildcats volleyball team by a score of 2-0 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Hawks now have a 5-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Hopewell for a non-league test on Thursday, October 6. West Mecklenburg will confront a Titans team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to South Iredell (Statesville, NC). The Titans record now stands at 9-9.
The Wildcats (2-10) will now prepare for their test against Providence (Charlotte, NC). The Panthers enter the non-league test with a 10-6 record. In their last test, Providence was knocked off by Rocky River (Mint Hill, NC), 2-0, in a non-league test.
