Next, the Eagles face the South Cougars (Salina, KS) in a Ark Valley-Chisholm Trail Division I challenge, on Thursday, October 6. Maize will attempt to better on its 8-2 season record. The Cougars enter the challenge with a 6-5 record after their 2-1 non-league win over Hutchinson (Hutchinson, KS).

The Colts now have a 4-6 record. They take the field next when they host Newton for a non-league challenge on Thursday, October 6. Haysville Campus will face a Railroaders team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Derby (Derby, KS). The Railroaders record now stands at 10-1.
