The Alcovy Tigers softball team scored 10 runs and limited the host Lamar County Trojans to 1 in the Tigers non-league triumph on Tuesday.

With the triumph, Alcovy moves its record to 21-6 on the year. The Tigers host George Walton Academy (Monroe, GA) to clash with the Bulldogs in a non-league game on Wednesday, October 5. The Bulldogs come into the game with a record of 6-12. George Walton Academy lost 9-5 in their recent league game against Loganville Christian Academy (Loganville, GA)

In their next game, the Trojans clash with the Mount de Sales Academy Cavaliers (Macon, GA) in a non-league battle, on Thursday, October 6. Lamar County will attempt to better on its 8-10 season record. The Cavaliers go into the battle with a 7-9 record after their 5-2 league loss to First Presbyterian Day (Macon, GA).
