The Chiefs now sport a 2-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Newark Academy for a Super Essex - Liberty game on Saturday, October 7. Caldwell will clash with a Minutemen squad coming off a 4-1 non-league loss to East Side (Newark, NJ). The Minutemen record now stands at 1-6.

The Cougars (4-4) will now prepare for their game against West Essex (North Caldwell, NJ). The Knights go into the non-league game with a 3-5 record. In their last game, West Essex was nudged by Mount St. Dominic Academy (Caldwell, NJ), 2-0, in a league game.
