The Voorheesville Blackbirds smashed the host Catholic Central Crusaders soccer squad by a margin of 4-0 in Wednesday's league match.
The Blackbirds now sport a 12-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Albany Academy for Girls for a Colonial Council game on Monday, October 9. Voorheesville will clash with a Bears squad coming off a 6-1 league win over Ichabod Crane (Valatie, NY). The Bears record now stands at 7-4.
The Crusaders (0-10) will now prepare for their game against Academy of the Holy Names (Albany, NY). The go into the Colonial Council game with a 1-9 record. In their last game, Academy of the Holy Names nipped La Salle Institute (Troy, NY), 2-1, in a league game.
