In Wednesday's non-league match, the visiting Bath County Chargers football squad scored a close 7-6 victory over the James River Knights.
In their next game, the Chargers clash with the Narrows Green Waves (Narrows, VA) in a non-league match, on Tuesday, October 10. Bath County will attempt to move on its 3-1 season record. The Green Waves enter the match with a 0-3 record after their 14-0 non-league loss to Parry McCluer (Buena Vista, VA).
The Knights (2-4) will now prepare for their match against Radford (Radford, VA). The Bobcats enter the non-league match with a 0-2 record. In their last match, Radford was nudged by Alleghany (Covington, VA), 32-6, in a non-league match.
