The Bishop Manogue Miners (Reno, NV) football edged the visiting Reed Raiders (Sparks, NV), 17-13 in Wednesday's league bout.

In their next game, the Miners face the Reno Huskies (Reno, NV) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, October 12. Bishop Manogue will attempt to advance on its 4-3 season record. The Huskies enter the bout with a 1-5 record after their 45-7 league loss to Spanish Springs (Sparks, NV).

The Raiders (5-2) will now prepare for their bout against Damonte Ranch (Reno, NV). The Mustangs enter the bout with a 4-3 record. In their last bout, Damonte Ranch was nudged by McQueen (Reno, NV), 50-18, in a league bout.
