The East Rockingham Eagles football team (Elkton, VA), was ripped 53-0 in Wednesday's non-league challenge with the visiting Spotswood Trailblazers (Penn Laird, VA)

The Trailblazers (7-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Harrisonburg (Harrisonburg, VA). The Blue Streaks come into the non-league challenge with a 3-2 record. In their last challenge, Harrisonburg trounced Rockbridge County (Lexington, VA), 42-14, in a non-league challenge.

The Eagles now sport a 1-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Turner Ashby for a non-league challenge on Wednesday, October 11. East Rockingham will meet a Knights team coming off a 38-12 non-league win over Broadway (Broadway, VA). The Knights record now stands at 6-0.
