In Wednesday's non-league battle, the visiting Grant Lancers volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the University Wildcats.
The Lancers (2-4) will now prepare for their battle against Verdugo Hills (Tujunga, CA). The Dons come into the battle with a 13-2 record.
Next, the Wildcats clash with the Palisades Dolphins (Pacific Palisades, CA) in a battle, on Thursday, October 5. University will attempt to advance on its 5-8 season record. The Dolphins come into the battle with a 9-0 record after their 2-0 league win over Hamilton (Los Angeles, CA).
