The Mechanicsville Mustangs volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the visiting Hermitage Panthers to 0 in the Mustangs non-league victory on Wednesday.

The Mustangs now have a 5-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Armstrong for a non-league game on Thursday, October 5. Mechanicsville will meet a Wildcats team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Highland Springs (Highland Springs, VA). The Wildcats record now stands at 0-2.

The Panthers (4-9) will now prepare for their game against Godwin (Richmond, VA). The Eagles enter the non-league game with a 2-11 record. In their last game, Godwin dropped by J.R. Tucker (Henrico, VA), 2-0, in a non-league game.
