Los Alamos Hilltoppers (Los Alamos, NM) backers left the game in high spirits Wednesday as they observed their volleyball squad hold off the host St. Pius X Sartans (Albuquerque, NM), 2-1 in a non-league match.
Next up, the Hilltoppers battle the Albuquerque Academy Chargers (Albuquerque, NM) in a non-league match, on Friday, October 6. Los Alamos will attempt to better on its 3-1 season record. The Chargers come into the match with a 2-9 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Volcano Vista (Albuquerque, NM).
With the loss, St. Pius X drops to 3-5 on the campaign. The Sartans host Belen (Belen, NM) to battle the Eagles in a non-league match on Tuesday, October 10. The Eagles come into the match with a record of 6-4.
