In Wednesday's league battle, the host Barrington Eagles soccer squad scored a close 4-2 triumph over the Central Knights.
The Eagles (2-3) will now prepare for their battle against Classical (Providence, RI). The Purples come into the Division 1 battle with a 1-6 record. In their last bout, Classical by South Kingstown (Wakefield, RI), 5-0, in a league bout.
In their next game, the Knights battle the Bishop Hendricken Hawks (Warwick, RI) in a Division 1 bout, on Wednesday, October 11. Central will attempt to move on its 4-5 season record. The Hawks enter the bout with a 6-1 record after their 1-0 league win over Central Falls (Central Falls, RI).
