In Wednesday's non-league contest, the Stockbridge Tigers (Stockbridge, GA) softball team held off the visiting Decatur Bulldogs (Decatur, GA), by a margin of 3-2.
With the triumph, Stockbridge moves its record to 17-6 on the year. The Tigers travel to McDonough (McDonough, GA) to play the Warhawks in a 4A Region 5 contest on Thursday, October 5. The Warhawks come into the contest with a record of 0-11. McDonough lost 22-1 in their recent league contest against Hampton (Hampton, GA)
In their next game, the Bulldogs play the Woodward Academy War Eagles (College Park, GA) in a non-league contest, on Friday, October 6. Decatur will attempt to move on its 12-9 season record. The War Eagles come into the contest with a 14-8 record after their 4-1 non-league loss to North Atlanta (Atlanta, GA).
