Georgia High School Softball - Emanuel County Institute holds off Dodge County

The Emanuel County Institute Bulldogs (Twin City, GA) softball the host Dodge County Indians (Eastman, GA), 3-1 in Wednesday's non-league bout.
The Bulldogs (10-12) will now prepare for their bout against McIntosh County Academy (Darien, GA). The Buccaneers go into the 1A D-II Region 3 bout with a 3-17 record. In their last bout, McIntosh County Academy by Jenkins County (Millen, GA), 8-0, in a league bout.
In their next game, the Indians play the Trinity Christian Crusaders (Dublin, GA) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, October 10. Dodge County will attempt to move on its 13-12 season record. The Crusaders come into the contest with a 12-14 record after their 5-3 non-league loss to Edmund Burke Academy (Waynesboro, GA).
