Oakville Tigers (St. Louis, MO) backers exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Kirkwood Pioneers (Kirkwood, MO), 10-4 in a non-league challenge.

The Tigers now own a 11-14 record. They take the field next when they host Pacific for a non-league challenge on Friday, October 6.

With the loss, Kirkwood falls to 3-18 on the campaign. The Pioneers travel to Parkway South (Manchester, MO) to face the Patriots in a Class 4 District 3 challenge on Thursday, October 5. The Patriots enter the challenge with a record of 17-7.
