The Mather Rangers (Chicago, IL) volleyball tipped the visiting Beacon Academy Trailblazers (Evanston, IL), 2-1 in Wednesday's non-league outing.
With the win, Mather upgrades its record to 5-11 on the year.
The Trailblazers now own a 5-8 record. They play next when they travel to Horizon Science Academy McKinley Park for a Lake Shore Athletic outing on Monday, October 9. Beacon Academy will face a Hawks squad coming off a 2-0 league loss to Waldorf (Chicago, IL). The Hawks record now stands at 2-17.
