The Chariho Chargers held off the visiting La Salle Academy Rams volleyball team by a score of 3-2 in Wednesday's non-league test.

The Chargers now have a 9-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to North Kingstown for a non-league test on Friday, October 6. Chariho will confront a Skippers team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Cranston East (Cranston, RI). The Skippers record now stands at 8-1.

The Rams (8-4) will now prepare for their test against East Greenwich (East Greenwich, RI). The Avengers enter the non-league test with a 5-4 record. In their last test, East Greenwich held off West Warwick (West Warwick, RI), 3-0, in a non-league test.
