The Murphy Panthers volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the host Citronelle Wildcats to 0 in the Panthers non-league victory on Wednesday.
The Panthers now have a 6-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Washington County for a non-league game on Tuesday, October 10. Murphy will meet a Bulldogs team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Leroy (Leroy, AL). The Bulldogs record now stands at 23-6.
The Wildcats (6-10) will now prepare for their game against Fruitdale (Fruitdale, AL). The Pirates enter the non-league game with a 1-5 record. In their last game, Fruitdale dropped by Washington County (Chatom, AL), 2-0, in a non-league game.
