The Johnston Panthers volleyball team (Johnston, RI), was dropped 3-0 in Wednesday's league challenge with the visiting Exeter-West Greenwich Scarlet Knights (West Greenwich, RI)

The Scarlet Knights (4-5) will now prepare for their challenge against St. Mary Academy-Bay View (East Providence, RI). The Bengals enter the Division 2 challenge with a 4-5 record. In their last challenge, St. Mary Academy-Bay View was dropped by Cumberland (Cumberland, RI), 3-2, in a league challenge.

Next, the Panthers meet the North Smithfield Northmen (North Smithfield, RI) in a Division 2 challenge, on Tuesday, October 10. Johnston will attempt to move on its 0-9 season record. The Northmen enter the challenge with a 5-4 record after their 3-1 league win over St. Raphael Academy (Pawtucket, RI).
