Ohio High School Volleyball - McDonald over LaBrae

The crowd at Wednesday's non-league bout between the McDonald Blue Devils (McDonald, OH) and the host LaBrae Vikings (Leavittsburg, OH), saw McDonald's volleyball squad beat LaBrae by a tally of 3-1.

With the win, McDonald upgrades its record to 12-7 on the year. The Blue Devils travel to Lowellville (Lowellville, OH) to play the Rockets in a Mahoning Valley Athletic - Scarlet bout on Thursday, October 5. The Rockets go into the bout with a record of 7-11. Lowellville won 3-0 in their recent league bout against Waterloo (Atwater, OH)

The Vikings now own a 15-4 record. They play next when they travel to Memorial for a Mahoning Valley Athletic - Grey bout on Thursday, October 5. LaBrae will play a Red Devils squad coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Heartland Christian (Columbiana, OH). The Red Devils record now stands at 14-5.
