The Lake Zurich Bears (Lake Zurich, IL) volleyball overcame the visiting Lake Forest Scouts (Lake Forest, IL), 2-0 in Wednesday's league outing.

With the win, Lake Zurich upgrades its record to 11-10 on the year. The Bears host Carmel (Mundelein, IL) to face the Corsairs in a non-league outing on Thursday, October 5. The Corsairs go into the outing with a record of 8-11. Carmel lost 2-1 in their recent league outing against Nazareth Academy (LaGrange Park, IL)

The Scouts now own a 5-20 record. They play next when they travel to Mundelein for a non-league outing on Saturday, October 7. Lake Forest will face a Mustangs squad coming off a 2-0 league loss to Libertyville (Libertyville, IL). The Mustangs record now stands at 12-7.
