The Perry County Central Commodores volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the visiting Martin County Cardinals to 0 in the Commodores non-league victory on Wednesday.

The Commodores now possess a 20-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Magoffin County for a non-league game on Thursday, October 5. Perry County Central will meet a Hornets team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Morgan County (West Liberty, KY). The Hornets record now stands at 4-17.

The Cardinals (4-13) will now prepare for their game against Paintsville (Paintsville, KY). The Tigers enter the District 57 game with a 21-8 record. In their last game, Paintsville was dropped by Johnson Central (Paintsville, KY), 3-0, in a league game.
