Illinois High School Volleyball - Mercer County over Ridgewood [AlWood/Cambridge]

In Wednesday's league contest, the Mercer County Golden Eagles (Aledo, IL) volleyball squad were winner over the visiting Ridgewood [AlWood/Cambridge] Spartans (Woodhull, IL), by a margin of 2-0.

Next up, the Golden Eagles face the ROWVA/Williamsfield Cougars (Oneida, IL) in a Inter County contest, on Monday, October 9. Mercer County will attempt to better on its 14-10 season record.

With the loss, Ridgewood [AlWood/Cambridge] moves to 6-19 on the year. The Spartans host Rockridge (Taylor Ridge, IL) to face the Rockets in a non-league contest on Thursday, October 5. The Rockets go into the contest with a record of 9-12. Rockridge lost 2-1 in their recent league contest against Monmouth-Roseville (Monmouth, IL)
