The Union Farmers volleyball team (Union, NJ), was dropped 2-0 in Wednesday's non-league challenge with the host Scotch Plains-Fanwood Raiders (Scotch Plains, NJ)

The Raiders (6-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Westfield (Westfield, NJ). The Blue Devils enter the Union County - Watchung challenge with a 8-1 record. In their last challenge, Westfield defeated Kent Place (Summit, NJ), 2-1, in a league challenge.

Next, the Farmers meet the New Providence Pioneers (New Providence, NJ) in a Union County - Mountain challenge, on Thursday, October 5. Union will attempt to move on its 3-8 season record. The Pioneers enter the challenge with a 1-11 record after their 2-1 league win over Cranford (Cranford, NJ).
